An Invitation to Word Wrangler Book Festival

I’m super excited that my book, Footfalls to the Alamo was selected to be a part of the Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival! This year, the festival runs September 27th through September 28th at the Giddings Public Library and Cultural Center in one of my favorite small towns: Giddings, Texas! Seventy three authors submitted applications, and I was one of twenty five authors whose work was selected. The super cool thing about this book festival is that applicant authors must agree to meet with students in the schools to talk about their books. That sounds awesome to me–I hope I am placed in a middle school where Texas history is taught!

Please come on by for a visit if you are in the area–I’d love to meet you!
